1. Child Supervision & Safety
- Monitor toddlers at all times to ensure safety and well-being.
- Assist with transitions between activities (e.g., arrival, meals, naps).
- Maintain appropriate child-to-teacher ratios according to licensing rules.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment, both indoors and outdoors.
2. Support with Daily Routines
- Help with diapering, toilet training, handwashing, and hygiene routines.
- Assist with dressing and undressing (e.g., for outdoor play or accidents).
- Support toddlers during meals and snacks (e.g., setting up, feeding, cleaning up).
- Provide comfort and consistency during nap/rest time.
3. Learning Through Play
- Engage toddlers in developmentally appropriate activities like:
- Storytime and songs
- Art and sensory play
- Simple puzzles and toys
- Gross motor activities (e.g., dancing, climbing, ball play)
- Storytime and songs
- Support social, emotional, and language development through interaction and modeling.
Compensation: $14.00 per hour
